From This Place
A life in art, shaped by time, place, memory, and the things we carry forward.
I have always made things from where I am.
Songs, stories, paintings, jewelry, objects built by hand. Different forms, but connected by the same fascination with time, memory, place, inheritance, and the things we choose to carry forward.
This season has brought those threads closer together than ever before. Music has become film. Paintings have grown from songs. Stories have found their way onto the page. Years spent working with watches, jewelry, and objects with histories continue to shape the way I think about making anything at all.
Mystic March is the place where all of that work lives together. Not separate careers or collections, but one evolving body of work, made from this place and this particular moment in my life.
The Work
-
Music
ListenKeeps Time
My debut full-length album, Keeps Time, is a collection of original songs about family, memory, inherited stories, grief, love, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again. Written during an extraordinary season of change, these songs became a way of giving voice to stories that painting and prose alone could not fully express.
The title track received Second Place in its category in the 2026 Talent Is Timeless International Songwriting Competition.

Visual Art
Canvas CollectionThe Paintings
My paintings explore memory, identity, inheritance, and the ways our experiences become embedded in us. Working across paint, embroidery, stitching, and mixed media, I build surfaces that carry their own histories: layered, marked, repaired, and transformed.
The work often begins with something deeply personal, but I am interested in the place where an individual story becomes a shared one, where what has been lived can become something recognizable to someone else.

Writing
ReadThe Novels
Two novels in progress explore the ways our histories and relationships shape who we become, and what it takes to find ourselves again.
The Schooling asks how we are formed by the people, places, experiences, and expectations that teach us who we are supposed to be.
All the Days turns toward reclamation, following a woman across four years as memory, love, loss, and creativity gradually lead her back to herself.

Jewelry
Jewelry CollectionObjects
Jewelry gives me another way to explore the patterns, layers, and relationships that run through all of my work. I am drawn to assembling individual elements and discovering how color, texture, repetition, and form can build upon one another until they become something entirely new.
Like writing or painting, the process is one of composition: finding structure within disparate pieces and allowing each element to become part of a larger whole. The result is something both sculptural and intimate, an object of art made to be worn and carried into everyday life.

Stories in Film
Some stories ask to be told in more than one form. These short films bring together original music, photographs, artwork, memory, and place, creating a visual world around the songs and the stories they carry.
Long Ago
Long Ago. A meditation on childhood, memory, and the places that remain part of us long after we leave them. Through original music and photographs from the community where I grew up, Long Ago looks back at the people, landscapes, and ordinary moments that quietly shape who we become.
Swallow Glass
A glimpse inside the process of making art during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. Swallow Glass follows a piece from its beginnings through layers of paint, embroidery, image, and meaning, revealing how the act of making can become a way to hold what is painful, give it form, and ultimately transform it into something else.
Inherited
A deeply personal exploration of inheritance, loss, and the father I knew largely through the stories and objects he left behind. Through original music, family photographs, and memory, Inherited asks what we carry from the people who came before us, and how their absence can continue to shape a life.
Keeps Time
A meditation on motherhood, repetition, and the invisible rhythms that hold a family together. Keeps Time follows the relentless movement of caregiving, the dishes, laundry, interrupted rest, remembered tasks, and the constant circling back, while honoring the love and endurance that keep a mother moving even when she has nothing left to give.
We Become Before We Know
A meditation on motherhood, memory, and the generations of women who help shape us. Created from original music and photographs of mothers and children across generations, We Become Before We Know considers how love, example, sacrifice, and ordinary moments become part of us long before we understand their influence.
The Place
My studio is rarely separate from my life. My home is the place where I raise my children and the place where I write, paint, record, and make.
Nearly everything begins at the kitchen table or in the small bedroom closet that has become my recording studio. The work happens between appointments, school schedules, ordinary responsibilities, and the rhythms of family life.
Creativity does not happen after life settles down. It happens in the middle of it.
Recognition
The title track from Keeps Time received Second Place in its category in the 2026 Talent Is Timeless International Songwriting Competition. As the first song written during this season of my life, the recognition felt especially meaningful, affirming a creative voice I was only beginning to trust again.
